One person was tired of his legal name and he never used it so he decided it was time to change it. He decided to change it to, Lemon Ade. He went to court and caused a smirk on the judge’s face, but he was now called Lemon Ade. His new name ended up saving the day.

A few days later, he was carelessly speeding down the highway. A hidden police car skid out of the shrubs and started chasing him with blaring lights. He obligingly pulled over. The police officer got out and Lemon Ade rolled down his window.

“You know over 95 on an 80 mile driving zone,” police officer said.

“Yes sir.” Lemon Ade replied.

“What’s your name?” asked the police officer.

“Lemon Ade sir,” he replied.

“No seriously, what’s your name?!” asked the police officer.

“Lemon Ade sir,” he replied.

“Have you been drinking?” asked the police officer.

“No.”

“So what’s your name?” asked the police officer.

“Lemon Ade sir,” he replied.

“I’m warning you, I’ll have to arrest you for harassing a police officer, the officer said.

“Yes sir.” Lemon Ade replied.

“So what’s your name?” asked the police officer.

“Lemon Ade sir,” he replied.

“You’re under arrest for harassing a police officer, you have the right the right to remain silent, and anything you say can and will be used against you. Do you understand these rights?”

“Yes sir.” Lemon Ade replied.

Later at the station the police officer releasing that the name indeed is Lemon Ade, he released lemon Ade with an apologetic murmur. He didn’t give lemon Ade a ticket since he was afraid lemon Ade is going to sue him for harassing him and discriminating against him for his queer name. You should try changing your name sometime.

It’s a true story.
